Our featured performer this evening was Audrey Stefan on keyboard accompanied by Tyler Moser on acoustic guitar. Audrey lives in Vegreville and in the process of recording her first CD with a producer in California. She has performed at many Perogies and Jam events over the past few years. She performed several soft rock songs starting with You’re Gonna Go Far Kid, Hello and Dreams. These were followed by an original song Liar Liar, Shakey and Rhiannon. Audrey concluded her eleven song set with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and I’m A Mess.
Concluding the evening, Lorne Fill and Rob Hughes performed a few songs including My Old Man and a Ukrainian song entitled Maiden, Maiden.
Perogies and Jam appreciates our volunteers and this evening they included Carol Larrivee at the door, Rob Hughes as photographer, Randy Kereliuk on the sound system and Liam Bonser on set up, cash, and photography. Sunshine Club chef Dwayne Hlady provided an expanded menu for this event including chicken Caesar salad and brown sugar baked bacon.
