Perogies and Jam was pleased to support the 39th Wendy Brook Music Festival through the giving of a bursary and an award. The bursary was presented to Clayden Lutzak at the Bursary Awards event on May 22 at the Heritage House. Clayden will be attending the Deer Valley Meadows Fiddle Camp from August 19 to 24 near the town of Alix, Alberta. The Alberta Society of Fiddlers hosts two Fiddle camps each year; one in the summer at Deer Valley Meadows and the other in February at Camp He-Ho-Ha west of Edmonton.

Perogies and Jam previously provided the Community Music Award to Trinity Voices at the Annual Concert on April 5.

We congratulate all the 39th Annual Wendy Brook Music Festival performers and award recipients. We applaud their enthusiasm and commitment to growing the music community in the Vegreville area.
